Yes Personal Information What is your real-life age, gender, etc? 32 year old male What is your location / time-zone? Louisiana/ Central Do you have any real-life issues (medical, technical or otherwise) that may inhibit your ability to play occasionally? If anything came up that would stop me from making raid, it would be an emergency. In which case, I'd make sure an officer knew or a forum post was made. Other Information What is your past raiding experience? Include links to relevant logs/parses. If you did past raids on different characters, provide link(s) for the character(s) you used. Burning Crusade: SSJ, Mount Hyjal, Sunwell, TK Lich King: Naxx, Ulduar, TOGC, ICC This was definitely my most hardcore raiding expansion. A world first, all realm firsts. Cataclysm: Dragon Soul- semi-casual raiding with friends MoP: Mogu Vaults- semi-casual raiding with friends WoD: Blackrock Foundry, HFC Raided as DK for these https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/area-52/raeduh/achievements/dungeons-raids/draenor-raid Legion: EN Came back and a former guildie asked me to raid with them on my rogue. Guild Leader ended up leaving and guild broke up, then everyone slowly stopped raiding. Normal logs: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/us/malganis/freshaf#spec=Any&zone=10&difficulty=3 Heroic logs: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/us/malganis/freshaf#spec=Any&zone=10&difficulty=4 What past guilds were you in? Please explain the circumstances of your leaving. BC- Order of Inner Light (Sargeras-Alliance) Lich King- Booterang (Nathrezim-Horde) MoP and WoD were just short stints. WoD- Elitist (Nathrezim- Horde) This guild absorbed a lot of Booterang raiders once half the raid decided to start playing SWTOR instead. What can you contribute to our guild? Why should we want you? What do you want out of our guild? Are you only interested in the guild for raiding? I can contribute a funny atmosphere, a driven raider, and a desire to make friends for life. (yes, it sounds cheesy) But to touch on that more, I'm not looking to guild hop. I'd like the next guild I'm in to be the last one I'm in. While I am interested in raiding, I'm also interested in PvPing as well. I'll likely be looking to be pushing rating on off nights Do you ever experience performance or latency issues (fps, lag, etc)? Are you able to react to things quickly (< 100ms)? I just built my computer about 2 months ago. i7, GTX 1080,1 TB M.2 SSD, 4x 3200MHz for RAM. I BETTER NOT HAVE FRAME ISSUES. lol, but back to the question, no. No DPS or latency issues. What professions is your character benefiting from? Are you comfortable contributing profession-related materials or consumables to the guild bank for progression? I have none on my DH as of this moment, but going back into raiding, I will be leveling the most beneficial professions. If I have gathering professions, I can definitely help farm when needed. Do you have or are willing to install and use Discord (for communication and VoIP), and have a headset with a functioning microphone? If not, are you willing to install it and purchase a functioning headset? Do you have any issues that prevent you from communicating over voice? I've had Discord since it came out and I wouldn't use anything else until it can beat Discord in speed and less resources used. Have a working headset. How else would you hear my beautiful voice? For loot distribution we primarily use a modified EPGP system that you can view online that is based almost entirely on attendance. We may also occasionally opt to use loot council in special situations. This means that gear may be given to people other than yourself in cases where it would benefit the raid more as a whole. Are you willing to put the needs of the guild before your own in order to progress? I know loot system will change with personal loot coming out, but I've used Loot council and Suicide Kings for loot. If something were to come out or if blizzard caved on the personal loot, I'm all for EPGP. Raid group > one person Whatever is better for the raid is what should be done. Noone is greater than the whole. You may occasionally be asked to do things you don't like. This may include: going on standby for other roles/classes, respeccing, farming mats, doing old achievement runs, or helping guild mates with incredibly random things. Is this okay with you? I'm okay with going on standby if need be. Whether it be a bad raid make up (too melee heavy, etc) I have no issues respeccing, but this probably wouldn't come up until they give DH a 3rd spec lol. I like helping guildies, because I've been on the other side of it. Pay it forward! Provide a link to a portrait of your character drawn by you https://postimg.cc/image/tngs408g7/ Please list the names of the H.R. officers listed in the guild charter and explain why knowing this is important. You may also list your favorite part of the guild charter for extra credit. Nellabel-current HR Silvertone-formor HR, but still listed You could make a case for Ashijin and Kaustos as well since a manager has all the responsibilities of those under them as well. It's important to know the chain of command and keep affairs in order. (mainly drama, i'd imagine) as far as favorite part, i'd probably say "2. Be reasonable, and understand that decisions are made based on what is deemed best for the guild as a whole. " Additional information you would like to have taken under consideration: I have quite a gap in my raiding history. I used to be a musician and tours happen. It made it hard to play the game at points. However, I'm older now and that isn't an issue anymore. Other additional info, I'm very competitive. Deciding to take on pvp, I got 2k relatively quickly. I'm diamond in League of Legends. I'm diamond/master every season I decide to play Overwatch. What does this have to do with WoW? It's silly, but it's not completely irrelevant. It shows I have the ability to adapt to the current changing meta and patches, become better, and have mechanics to dodge abilities/not stand in fire Also, I'm a CAD Designer for a Jewelry company, so if you need a ring for your significant other...I can draw that up for you! (Optional) If your class is not currently being recruited, please indicate whether or not you are satisfied with being a casual or substitute. Please also provide a brief reasoning why you'd like to be in Reclamations despite potentially not having a core raiding spot: If a core spot was not available, I am willing to compete for a spot given the opportunity. (Optional) Do you know any Reclamations members, and if so, who? I talked to special for a little while about the guild and raid.
